KPTY Membership and Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation of Classes:

  • Advance Notice: Members must cancel a class within a specified time frame (e.g., 24 hours) to avoid penalties.

  • Late Cancellation: If a class is canceled late, the member will forfeit that session.

  • No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior notice will result in the loss of that session.

2. Membership Freeze/Pauses:

  • Pause Option: Members may be allowed to temporarily freeze or pause their membership (e.g., for a holiday or medical reasons) for a total period of 1 month in 360 days, that can be taken in increments of 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks.

  • Notice Period: Members need to provide notice (e.g., 7 days) before freezing (pausing) their membership.

  • Fees: No fee is charged for pausing a membership

3. Renewal and Expiry:

  • Automatic Renewal: Memberships will automatically renew at the end of the term unless the member provides notice of cancellation.

  • Expiration of Sessions: Any unused sessions within a membership package may expire after a certain period (e.g., 30 days after the membership term ends) and will not be refunded or carried over.

4. Contract Term and Early Termination:

  • Minimum Term: Members are required to commit to a minimum term of 3 months, after that the membership auto renews every month.

  • Early Termination Fee: If a member wishes to terminate their membership early (within their 3 month period), they will be subject to an early termination fee, which is 50% of the remaining contract value.

  • Cancellation Policy: Members need to provide 7 days notice if they wish to terminate their contract at the end of the term.

5. Payment Terms:

  • Monthly Billing: Payments are billed monthly at the start of the billing cycle.

  • Late Payment Fees: If a payment is late, the member may incur a late fee.

  • Auto-Pay Enrollment: Members are required to enroll in auto-pay for their membership fees.

6. Class Booking Priority:

  • Booking Window: Members will receive priority booking privileges, allowing them to reserve classes ahead of non-members.

  • Class Limits: There is a cap on how many classes a member can book in a week/month, depending on the membership level.

7. Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Medical Clearance: Members may need to provide medical clearance before starting if they have any health conditions.

  • Studio Guidelines: Members must comply with all studio policies, including health and safety protocols.
